Badges were needed by all who attended the event in front of the Castle. Disney was able to create this event with 4 days notice when The Present decided to announce his New Tourism Strategy at WDW. "As a security measure, Main Street, USA was closed for part of the day. Guests arriving to Magic Kingdom Park were redirected backstage to other Walt Disney World theme parks, which offered extended hours on Wednesday or Thursday."
