Up for auction is a vintage Croton Nivada Grenchen automatic wristwatch featuring a classic gold-tone case and an attractive silver-colored dial. The dial is signed "Croton Nivada Grenchen" and features a distinctive logo at the 12 o’clock position. It has raised gold-tone applied hour markers, Arabic numerals at the 6 and 9 o’clock positions, matching gold-tone hands, and a date window at the 3 o’clock position displaying red numerals. This Swiss-made Croton features a 17-jewel self-winding automatic movement signed Croton Watch Co. Inc. The movement marking is noted as E3UE A1049. The watch features a stainless steel case back with "Waterproof" and "Shock Resistant" markings. The case is marked "Base Metal Top" with reference number 63A 86646. The inside case back is marked 66828. The watch is fitted with an expandable metal bracelet marked "Gold Electroplate 20 Microns." Approximately 34.2 mm in diameters excluding the crown/bow.

Condition:

Applied hour markers show signs of oxidation and aging.
Crystal shows scratches, scuffs, and signs of age and wear.
Case has scratches, scuffs, and wear to the gold-tone finish from age and previous use.
Bezel shows visible surface scratches and wear.
Bracelet shows scratches, surface wear, discoloration, and deterioration to the gold electroplate finish.
