Some of the inflatable inserts are no longer inflated so some of these have flattened a little. These are made with 'Elastic memory' so if they have been flattened or sitting awkwardly in the box, they will naturally return to their proper, upright shape once they are given support. This can be done using pool noodles, cardboard or boot shapers. Be sure to keep them in a warm environment until they are to the liking you desire. 

We do keep these in a climate-controlled setting. 

PLEASE READ: Le Chameau boots are handcrafted using high-grade, premium natural rubber. When natural rubber experiences changes in temperature or humidity, insoluble protective particles and waxes naturally migrate and rise to the surface. This triggers a reaction called Blooming. This creates a cloudy, chalky, white or ashy gray residue. This is NOT a defect. 

If the boots you purchase have bloomed, you can easily restore their original look: 

1. Wash with water: You may use cold soapy water or a damp cloth

2. Let them air dry

3. Condition & buff: Spray the boots with a dedicated silicone conditioner and then buff them with a microfiber cloth.
