Here is a very pretty rustic painted traditional kitchen wooden stool. It was not deliberately painted to look distressed and flaky - it has developed the look over many years.......just like its owner for the last 20 years or so. Sturdy - legs got wet in photo session - hence water marks - which have dried. Lovely outline. It's been used by me in the past as a stand for plants and as an elevated home for magazines for books. I am sure it woud be happy to take on a similar job in a new home.
