Tamiya Dyna Storm 2001 (Kit Number 49190) is the re-release of the Iconic Tamiya Dyna Storm kit number 58116 first released in December 1992.
This limited edition Series is virtually identical to the original 1992 Dyna Storm (except the replacement of 1 plastic bearings and 5 steel bearings with 6 stainless steel ball bearings in the Re-Re), That’s all! There are no other differences. Six bearings upgraded to stainless ball bearings in the reissue. The other significant change from the 1992 Dyna Storm and the 2001 Dyna Storm re-release was the inclusion of the iconic Pink Motor included in the 2001 re-release making this even more unique!
I bought 2 of these Dyna Storms new in 2001 I opened one to see the kit inside but this one of the 2 that has remained in the factory sealed wrapping and amazing treasure that has been in my RC car collection for over the last 24 years !
