The basics of capsule sizing: - Capsule Size 1-5: The higher # = smaller size - Capsule Size 0, 00 and 000: Fewer 0s = smaller capsule size In some cases, capsule sizes can be selected on the simple basis of the actual physical size of the capsule. This could be a factor to consider when choosing a capsule for a pet or a child who may have limitations on the diameter or length of the capsule they can ingest. or divide the dosage among several smaller capsules such as 0#, 1#,2# and 4#. Because these smaller capsule sizes are easier to swallow, they are most suitable for children and smaller pets.
