BR-52 aneroid barometer.

The device is in good working order.

The serially produced aneroid barometer BR-52 (L82.830.000) is a domestic control and measuring device used to determine atmospheric pressure values. The BR-52 barometer is designed to equip educational institutions. The BR-52 barometer is used both in portable form and mounted on a wall. The equipment fully complies with sanitary standards, as it is made of materials that are safe for health.

To avoid damage and deviations during measurement, it is not recommended to subject the barometer to mechanical shocks and jolts. It is prohibited to place the barometer under the influence of direct sunlight and near heating devices.

The BR-52 aneroid barometer consists of the following parts:

a measuring mechanism, the operation of which is based on the use of two aneroid boxes;
a reading scale, uniformly applied to a paper base;
a locking arrow;
a case made of high-strength plastic;
a glass to protect the front part from mechanical damage.
The locking arrow is set according to the initial operating conditions or atmospheric pressure, usual for a given area. The pointer arrow shows its actual value.

The position of the indicating arrow relative to the fixed one is monitored. A deviation to the left means that climatic conditions are worsening, to the right - they are becoming better.

The barometer gives the most accurate readings when used in regions located no higher than 500 m above sea level.

The range of measured pressure is from 96,000 to 104,000 Pa and from 720 to 780 mm Hg. The scale division value is 100 Pa or 1 mm Hg.
The weight of the barometer is no more than 0.5 kg
The overall dimensions of the barometer are no more than: diameter 141 mm, height 50 mm
