The Stranglers – No More Heroes / In The Shadows – 7" Vinyl – 1977 – NM

Classic 1977 7-inch vinyl single by The Stranglers, one of the most influential British punk rock and new wave bands of the late 1970s, featuring Hugh Cornwell, Jean-Jacques Burnel, Dave Greenfield, and Jet Black.

"No More Heroes" is one of The Stranglers' most recognizable songs and a defining anthem of the British punk era. Released in 1977, the track reached No. 8 on the UK Singles Chart and became a signature recording for the band. Its driving bass line, aggressive guitar sound, distinctive keyboards, and sharp lyrics perfectly capture the rebellious energy of the late 1970s punk movement.

The B-side, "In The Shadows," offers a darker and more atmospheric side of The Stranglers' early sound. Featuring brooding instrumentation, prominent bass guitar, and haunting keyboard textures, the track demonstrates the band's distinctive combination of punk rock, new wave, and experimental influences.

This 1977 United Artists Records pressing features the classic beige and brown UA labels and was manufactured in Holland. Both tracks were produced by Martin Rushent at T.W. Studios, Fulham.

An excellent collectible for enthusiasts of British punk, early new wave, post-punk, and vintage 1970s vinyl.
