A beautiful, authentic mid-century (circa 1930s–1950s) vanity dressing table tray in exceptional condition. This large, full-sized rectangular tray is perfect for displaying perfume bottles, cosmetics, or jewellery.

Central Artwork:

Features a stunning, intricately hand-stitched floral petit point / needlepoint bouquet centrepiece.

Background Textile:

The bouquet is set against an ornate Normandy-style lace backing with large floral motifs and a delicate hexagonal mesh net.

The Frame:

Made of stamped brass (or gold-toned metal) with beautiful, pierced filigree handles and a detailed scrollwork border.

Dimensions: Approx. 36 cm long (including handles) x 20 cm wide.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The glass is clear and intact. Crucially, the lace underneath is beautifully preserved with no water damage, heavy staining, or foxing (age spots) which is very rare for a piece of this age. There is some light, natural patina/verdigris on the brass handles, adding to its authentic vintage charm.
