Pair of curtains with a distinctive retro "billiard
ball" pattern in a range of 9 shades of browns, pinks and whites.
Made of 100% viscose, the curtains are in very good and clean condition,
and having previously been hung with linings bear no signs of fading or
discolouration.
The curtains measure 122 ins wide and are finished with 3 ins
deep 'triple pleat' heading tape, which when pulled forms fans of 3 pleats
along the width of the heading tape and gives a finished pulled width of
approx. 66 ins for each curtain. Thus this pair of curtains is ideal for a rail length of circa 126-135 ins.
The curtains can be finished to over 90 ins long:
the original hems were dismantled to ensure perfect laundering and thus
the overall length of fabric from top of tape to bottom curtain edge measures
104 ins. With no distinct hemline marks the curtains can be finished
to any required length. (Upon purchase, the seller will provide this
service without additional cost if required).
The curtain fabric itself is light to medium in weight, and
provides a fluid and soft effect, which can be firmed in weight by
lining. The top surface has the slightest of sheen
effects. It is coloured in 9 shades of pale, dusky and muted
pinks together with chocolate browns (with a pink undertone). The design
is of graduating circles or "balls" which increase in size from
the top (1 ins diameter) to base of the pattern where the circles are 3 ins
diameter. Colourings similarly shade from pale to dark, the base
edge of the print design being in black.
The repeated design is in deep bands of 12.5 ins (32 cms).
Washable.
These are a very striking set of curtains with an unusual
retro design which would create an eye-catching statement in any room.
