Offered is this extremely rare early 1800s pre-Civil War) cloth belt mated to its original New York Excelsior Militia plate/buckle. It has the two attachment pieces for maintenance of the flintlock mechanisms. This belt is from the early part of the 19th century, likely closer to the 1820s than 1840s. Everything shown is of course included.
