Offered is this extremely rare 1840s (pre-Civil War) complete leather belt mated to its original New York Excelsior Militia plate/buckle. The buckle and keeper are in phenomenal original paired condition. The belt mated is also original and it includes 2 chains with securities hook attachments. The back of the buckle looks great although it has 1 tooth missing.
