Made in Japan, this 36-hole hub features "SHIMANO JAPAN 3SC" stamped on the reaction brake arm and "Shimano THREE SPEED HUB COASTER BRAKE" engraved into the hub shell. Excellent replacement or restoration component for classic cruisers, muscle bikes, or vintage commuter builds.
Condition Details:
Structural: Solid unit. Axle threads, brake arm, and spoke hole flanges are intact with no cracks or stripped threads.
Cosmetic: Shows light surface scratching, age-appropriate chrome wear, and minor oxidation spots consistent with vintage use.
Functional Note: Axle rotates, but unit is sold as-is and untested internally. Require fresh grease, adjustment, pushrod, or shifter hardware for full setup.
