Offered for your consideration is one (1) TIVOLI DESIGN 6 inch nominal (5¼ inch actual) woofer that was removed from my TIVOLI TDM3 tower speakers, manufactured c.2006.  This mid/bass driver may have been used in other TIVOLI speakers, but buyer is responsible for verifying its suitability for any other applications.

So, please take a look at my large photos, the measurements, and read the remaining description to decide if this capable mid/bass woofer is correct for your needs.

 

This TIVOLI woofer is in clean, excellent overall condition.  The sturdy poly-coated paper cone is flawless and so is the voice coil dustcap.   Plus, the surround is permanent rubber so there’s no foam replacement issues to worry about.

Also, the black-enameled steel basket with oversized, thick plastic flange cover is in terrific shape with no scratches or dings and the anodized bell covering the heavy, shielded magnet structure is perfect as well.  And, the +/- terminals are marked for polarity and have never been soldered on the spades.  Overall, this driver is practically indistinguishable from new!

 

Most importantly, this driver has been fully tested and sounds terrific with excellent clarity and midrange detail.  Plus, the low-end output is ample for the platform size.  I also tested the DC resistance at 5.2-5.3Ω consistent with a 6 ohm nominal driver rating.  Lastly, the oversized basket flange cover measures 6⅛”, it stands 3⅜” tall, and the mounting holes are spaced 3⅞” adjacent / 5½” diagonal apart, c-t-c.

This is a great find for someone that has a blown or damaged mid/bass driver in their TDM3 or other suitable model—your speaker(s) will be sounding their finest once again in no time!
