Vintage Iona Silver (John Hart) 1950s/60s 925 Sterling Silver Celtic Cross Design Stud Earrings With Box

A wonderful pair of vintage Iona Silver stud earrings, bearing the IONA SILVER and JH marks attributed to Scottish silversmith John Hart. 

Dating to around the 1950s/60s, they feature beautifully detailed Celtic cross motifs with intricate knotwork and a raised central boss, with the oxidised recesses adding excellent definition to the design.

The Earrings have been hygienically cleaned and polished and come complete with their box as shown - The perfect gift for your nearest and dearest or just a treat for yourself.

They have a front diameter of 1.4cm and have Post and Butterfly Fastenings.

Together they weigh 3.8g without the box.

Both are stamped 'IONA SILVER' with John Harts earlier Makers Mark of a stylised J overlapping the H.
