Description

The AlphaTheta RMX-IGNITE is a professional DJ effector and sampler, and the successor to the RMX-1000 remix station introduced in 2012. Two effect engines, LEVER FX and ISOLATE FX, are applied independently to the high, mid and low bands, so the sound can be reshaped through three large levers and three large knobs in a way the audience can also see. A built-in sampler and a USB Type-C link to compatible DJ mixers extend it from the club booth to streaming and video work.

Key Features

• 3-BAND FX section: LEVER FX and ISOLATE FX can be applied separately to the HI, MID and LOW bands, and the six effects in each group can be freely combined, with a sub-parameter knob for further tone shaping.
• LEVER FX: three large levers trigger ECHO, REVERB, JUGGLE, REVERSE, SOLO and STRETCH the instant they are pushed.
• ISOLATE FX: three large knobs sweep TAPE ECHO, REVERB, DRIVE, FILTER, DUCKER and RHYTHM smoothly, and turning the TAPE ECHO knob to the left makes it work as an isolator.
• Built-in sampler: samples are loaded from a USB flash drive through the USB Type-A port, and their dynamics can be shaped while playing to build a groove.
• Connections and power: 1/4-inch TS input and output, two USB Type-C ports for multi I/O and power, one USB Type-A port for the sampler and a LAN (100BASE-TX) port; the unit runs on AC 100 V to 240 V, 50/60 Hz, so it works worldwide without a step-down transformer.
