Frederic Castet who passed away in 2011, designed furs for Christian Dior until 1988 before launching his own collection in Asia. While little known to the general public, he was highly respected by his peers and counted Elizabeth Taylor, Marlene Dietrich and Sophia Lauren amongst his clients.
