This is an antique hollow cut silhouette of a woman in the original gilt frame with the original reverse painted black and gold matte with an oval opening, circa 1810 to 1830s, or so, and New England in origin. It is 4 3/8” x 5 1/4” with the original pressed paper backboard. There is a wire ring hanger at the top of the frame that looks original.
