Beautiful set of four 18th-century Meissen porcelain saucers from the Dot Period, circa 1765–1774.
Each saucer is individually hand painted with a different floral bouquet and scattered flower sprigs in vibrant polychrome enamels. The borders feature a striking mauve-purple scale pattern, embellished with delicate gilt scrollwork and finished with gilt rims.
The undersides bear the underglaze blue Meissen crossed-swords mark with a dot, associated with the factory's Dot Period, as well as hand-painted decorator/workman's numbers.
The four saucers coordinate beautifully while retaining the individual character of hand-painted 18th-century Meissen decoration.

Condition: Excellent antique condition overall with little wear, especially being approximately 250 years of age. Little wear to the gilding and painted decoration. The visible gilding flakes on the rim are not a chips. No chips or cracks. One has a dark stain on the rim that did not come off with gentle cleaning.
