Technicians in the cable, A/V, telecom, and datacom industries use it. The tester features a large backlit LCD with a glow-in-the-dark keypad and rugged, waterproof housing. It provides on-hook voltage and off-hook current readings, Caller ID and error detection as well as amplified line monitoring. This device can also display ring frequency, battery condition, and continuous polarity.

The TLA300-1 includes the Tel Scope unit with a Bed-of-Nails and piercing clip cord set with an RJ plug.
