Offered is this Civil War .54 caliber early Sharps bullet. It’s the rare “Christmas Tree” or “Ringtail” variant, not the common carbine version. This type is often associated with Confederate troops. In addition, it’s in very condition as shown. It has some loose old foam which appears to easily brush off (no glue) as well as “601” over what appears to be clear glue, as shown.

This bullet is from a recently acquired Civil War bullet collection that I’ll be listing. I don’t have any digger information although these all came from the same group. Note please that the stand is not included.
