18th Century Miniature Souvenir Ring Gold Low Title, Oval Ring, Feeling Jewelry

Low Title 18th Century Gold Miniature Souvenir Ring. Oval shaped, this ring features a full-color miniature at its center, protected under glass. The miniature depicts a young woman leaning against a column, mourning, staring at the floor. She wears an antique white draped effect dress. The shoulders of the ring are decorated with stylized streaks and flower. The underside is smooth and concave to fit the finger perfectly. Feeling Jewel, circa 1780, probably English.

Finger circumference: 54 EU or 6.75 US (size possible)

Kitten Dimensions: 2.8 x 1.7 cm

Condition: Glass scratches, small consolidation under the ring, oxidation.

Weight: 4.07 gr
