About this enclosure: 

This enclosure is designed for two P3 64×64 RGB LED matrix modules arranged side-by-side, providing a single professional-looking housing for a large, high-resolution LED display.

The enclosure provides space for a matrix controller such as:

A power switch and DC barrel power connector are installed on the left side.

Magnetic Mounting System

Six stainless-steel metal strips are glued onto the enclosure stand-offs. Magnetic screws fitted to the rear of the LED modules attach to these strips and hold the displays in place.

The display can be removed by gently pushing through the rear ventilation openings using a thin ruler or similar flat tool.

Ventilation

The back of the enclosure incorporates ventilation openings to encourage airflow and help cool the display and controller electronics.

PETG 3D Printed Construction

Due to the large size of this enclosure, it cannot be 3D printed as a single piece. The enclosure is therefore printed in two separate sections and permanently joined together using glue. As a result, minor glue marks or stains may be visible along the joining area. These are a normal part of the manufacturing process and do not affect the strength or functionality of the enclosure.

PETG is selected for its combination of strength, toughness, durability and useful heat resistance.

Glass-transition temperature: approximately 80°C
Recommended practical enclosure environment: approximately 70°C or below
Good impact resistance
Good layer adhesion
Better heat resistance than PLA
Suitable for functional electronic enclosures

The enclosure may have small layer lines, printing marks, glue marks and other minor cosmetic imperfections. These are normal for a 3D-printed product. The enclosure is designed to be functional and professional-looking, rather than perfectly smooth like an injection-moulded commercial enclosure.
