This enclosure is designed for a P4 64×32 pixel RGB LED matrix display, providing a neat housing for the LED module and its controller electronics. It is ideal for DIY digital signage, information displays, counters, scoreboards, clocks, advertising displays and other ESP32/Arduino LED matrix projects.

The 50mm depth provides a stable enclosure that can sit securely on a table while leaving room for the controller and wiring.
Controller Compatibility
The enclosure has been designed to accommodate:
- BuildCircuits / Scoreduino matrix drivers
- ESP32-based matrix drivers
- Arduino UNO
- Arduino Mega
- Adafruit Matrix Portal S3
- Other compatible third-party controllers
The power switch and DC barrel connector are positioned on the left side.
Magnetic Mounting System
Six stainless-steel metal strips are attached to the internal stand-offs. Magnetic screws installed on the rear of the display attract to these strips and hold the LED matrix securely inside the enclosure.
The display can be removed without dismantling the entire enclosure. A thin ruler or similar flat tool can be inserted through the rear ventilation openings to gently push the display out.
Magnetic screws/magnets for the display are also included.
Ventilation
Ventilation openings are provided on the rear to promote airflow and help remove heat generated by the LED matrix and controller.
PETG Material
PETG is a strong and durable thermoplastic commonly used for functional 3D-printed components.
Important PETG characteristics include:
Good mechanical strength
Good impact resistance
Excellent layer adhesion
Better heat resistance than PLA
Good moisture resistance
Suitable for functional electronic enclosures
PETG typically has a glass-transition temperature around 80°C. For practical continuous operation, we recommend keeping the enclosure environment at approximately 70°C or below.
