Description
The RODE NT4 is a single-point stereo condenser microphone with a matched pair of half-inch cardioid capsules fixed in a 90 degree X/Y arrangement. Because the capsules are permanently aligned, it captures a stable stereo image without matching or positioning two separate microphones, and it can be powered from a mixer or from a battery for field recording.
Key Features:
• Fixed X/Y stereo pair — two matched half-inch cardioid condenser capsules at 90 degrees
• Single-point stereo — no capsule matching or alignment is required
• Dual power — runs on 48 V phantom power or on a 9 V battery for portable use
• Specifications — 20 Hz to 20 kHz, 143 dB maximum SPL, 16 dB (A) self noise and 200 ohm output impedance
• Dedicated cables supplied — the 5-pin XLR output uses the supplied stereo XLR cable, and a 3.5 mm cable is also included
• Hard carry case — the microphone, cables, windshield and manual are stored in the moulded case
