Heavily faded with that weird peach colour old plastic can get. No idea if it works as the mains plug has been cut off and don't happen to have 10 C-cell batteries laying about. However, I wouldn't be surprised if it flashed on straight away, doesn't look to have been dropped or mishandled, just left in dry storage for decades.
Similar models are listed as 5.5" buy the screen is 4" wide and the unit is 6.5".....
