Vintage brown leather English horse riding saddle, approximately 17 inch seat.

Traditional leather construction with a distinctive curved flap and raised, padded seat. The saddle has “FORGED STEEL” marked on the metal fitting.

Condition: This is a heavily used and well-worn saddle with extensive age/use-related wear throughout. The leather has numerous scratches, scuffs, marks, areas of discolouration and surface wear. There is also dirt/dust and some staining. Please study all photographs carefully as they form an important part of the description.

There is no maker’s mark or brand label, so it is being sold as an unbranded saddle.

The saddle has been stored for some time and has not been professionally inspected or assessed for riding use. I cannot confirm its suitability for riding and would recommend that it is checked by a qualified saddler before being used.
