Ironwood is an asymmetrical, card-based tactics game for 1-2 people. Play as an Ironclad or Woodwalker with thematically appropriate materials - either heavy, high-quality metal game materials or elegant wooden parts. The aim of the game on both sides is as different as the material: As Ironclad, use your drill to mine valuable crystals and build powerful forges. Or roam the forests as a Woodwalker to make surprise attacks and discover powerful totems.

Both factions have a completely customized deck of cards that can be used for either actions or combat. While the Ironclad control powerful golems and their armies, the Woodwalkers rely on fast guerrilla tactics. Despite its great tactical depth and asymmetry, Ironwood is quickly explained and has clear rules.

The game also features a solo mode developed by Dávid Turczi and Xavi Bordes Aymerich, in which you can face off against either the Ironclad or the Woodwalkers. The level of difficulty can be adjusted individually.
