This Nabucco survived a fire. It was not directly engulfed in flames but the extreme heat melted the dial, hands and many of the internal parts.

The eta 2893-2 movement was rebuilt using as many of the original parts as possible. The original dial is badly damaged and much of the textured center design has flaked away or was removed so fragments wouldn't find their way into the movement. Some of the indices have lost their lume which can be replaced but I chose not to. I contacted Raymond Weil and they can supply a replacement dial but they require you ship them the watch for an estimate. The movement has many new parts and has been fully serviced. It is in excellent functional condition and keeping excellent time.

The sapphire crystal is original and in excellent condition.

The original second hand is on the watch and the other original, melted hands are included in the sale. New replacement hands of the same style and size are on the watch. The GMT hand on the watch is shorter than the original.

This is a large, heavy watch at 44mm with 22mm lugs
