This original 1940s gelatin silver snapshot features a smiling woman in a halter top and high-waisted shorts posing against a leaning palm tree along an ocean beach. Forensic dating places this photograph firmly in the 1940s WWII era based on the subject's pinned curl hairstyle, tailored two-piece playsuit resort wear, and classic white-bordered snapshot dimensions. The verso is clean with a single crisp black developer ink stamp reading "916".
