Offered is an attractive and collectible Athearn Ready-to-Roll HO scale EMD SD40-2 diesel locomotive, catalog #8004, decorated for CP Rail / Canadian Pacific #5647 in the distinctive Expo ’86 commemorative paint scheme.

CP Rail was a corporate sponsor of Expo ’86 in Vancouver and decorated only six SD40-2 locomotives with the special Expo treatment. Prototype #5647 was one of those six locomotives, making this a particularly interesting model for Canadian Pacific, Expo ’86 and modern diesel collectors.
