For sale is a stunning Hazorfim .925 sterling silver Torah shield. Weighing 14.1 ounces (approximately 400 grams), this piece features the hallmark "HAZORFIM .925" confirming its authentic sterling silver content and prestigious maker, Hazorfim, a renowned Israeli silversmith established in 1952.

The design is exceptionally detailed, showcasing a central panel with an engraved Hebrew inscription of the Ten Commandments, flanked by two intricately sculpted lions standing on ornate columns. Above, a regal crown adds to the piece's grandeur, complemented by elaborate floral and scrollwork patterns throughout. The shield includes a chain for hanging and a blank plaque, likely for custom engraving (e.g., synagogue or donor name). The natural patina and minor wear suggest an estimated age of 1960s-1980s, though exact dating requires expert appraisal. After polishing, the front now displays a brilliant mirror-like finish while the back retains its original untouched patina, giving a beautiful contrast. I included a picture prior to polishing the front. This original piece is in great vintage condition, with some tarnish and light scratches that enhance its antique character. No damage or repairs are visible.
