The centre cover is an exterior component associated with the steering-wheel airbag location.
Although the cover itself does not contain an airbag, installation requires access to the vehicle's Supplemental Restraint System (SRS).
The original factory airbag module, inflator, wiring, connectors and internal SRS components must remain unmodified and must be retained and installed according to the vehicle manufacturer's specifications.
Incorrect installation, modification or use of an incompatible component could interfere with correct airbag operation, activate an SRS warning light or result in serious injury.
Installation should be performed by a suitably qualified automotive professional experienced with steering-wheel and SRS systems.
Do not cut, drill, glue, reshape or modify the factory airbag module or internal SRS components.
Do not modify factory SRS wiring or connectors.
Do not install a cover that is damaged or does not fit correctly.
