Excellent for DIY electronics and educational projects
This Si4703 module can be used to build a wide variety of FM radio projects, including:
DIY FM radio receivers
Arduino FM radio
ESP32 Internet/FM radio projects
Portable battery-powered radios
Digital tuning radios
FM radio alarm clocks
Audio receiver projects
Retro radio restorations
Electronic learning projects
Microcontroller-controlled audio systems
Custom radio and multimedia projects
The Si4703 receives commercial FM broadcast signals and provides decoded stereo audio. A microcontroller communicates with the module through the I²C bus, allowing your program to control functions such as frequency selection, station seeking and volume-related settings depending on the module/library implementation.
An appropriate FM antenna is required for good reception. The audio output can be connected to an amplifier or powered speaker circuit to build a complete radio.
The module can be integrated with popular development boards such as:
Arduino UNO
Arduino Nano
Arduino Mega
ESP32
ESP8266
Raspberry Pi
Other microcontrollers with I²C support
Note: The exact pin configuration and operating voltage can vary between Si4703 module versions. Please check the markings on your module and confirm the supply and I²C voltage requirements before connecting it to your controller.
Unlike a traditional analog FM receiver circuit, the Si4703 provides digital control and tuning, making it much easier to integrate FM radio functionality into programmable electronics projects. You can create your own user interface with buttons, an LCD/OLED display, rotary encoder or smartphone-controlled interface.
1 × Si4703 FM Radio Receiver Module
This is an FM receiver module, not an FM transmitter. It is designed to receive commercial FM broadcast stations and provide audio output for connection to an amplifier or other suitable audio circuitry.
