Although this product is only the outer cover and is not intended to alter or tamper with the internal airbag assembly, installation requires access to the vehicle's Supplemental Restraint System (SRS).
The factory airbag module, inflator, wiring and internal SRS components must remain unmodified and must be retained according to the vehicle manufacturer's specifications.
Incorrect installation or the use of an incompatible cover could interfere with correct airbag operation, activate an SRS warning light or result in injury.
Installation must be performed by a suitably qualified automotive professional experienced with steering-wheel and SRS airbag systems.
The original compatible factory airbag assembly must be retained.
Do not cut, drill, glue, reshape or modify the factory airbag module or internal SRS components.
Do not install the cover if it is damaged, incompatible or does not fit correctly.
Follow the vehicle manufacturer's procedures when disconnecting and handling the battery and SRS system.
Confirm compatibility with your vehicle, steering wheel and original airbag assembly before purchasing.
After installation, confirm that the SRS warning light operates normally.
Arrange a professional inspection immediately if an SRS warning light or fault appears.
