Up for auction is a fascinating and quite rare authentic Victorian vest from the 1870s to 1880s era. This came from a collection that belonged to a gentleman that collected authentic Western wear.

Chest measures 17" across.

Front length 21"

In back 24".

The front appears to be silk, but I'm not sure. Hard to tell. Doesn't feel like wool. The back portion appears to be made from a polished cotton fabric.
