Jupiter-9 implements the Sonnar optical design of the German company Carl Zeiss. The design and technological documentation of Zeiss went to the USSR as reparations.

The lenses are in excellent condition, no debris or fungus, no scratches either, perhaps with a magnifying glass you can see light traces of wiping in the form of micro scratches on the front lens, the aperture and focus work properly.
