Twisted Sister Note

🌹 A little Edwardian ingenuity: That unusual gold ring isn't just decoration! This petite dish was designed to be picked up by the finger-ring handle and passed around the tea table—traditionally holding lemon slices for tea. More than a century later, it's still ready for teatime...although we think it has earned retirement from active lemon duty. ☕🍋

Beautiful antique T&V (Tressemanes & Vogt) Limoges France lemon server, dating to the early 20th century, circa 1907–1919.

Measuring approximately 6.5" across, this unusual porcelain serving dish features delicate pink roses and trailing foliage, a scalloped rim, extensive gold accents, and a distinctive gilt finger-ring handle traditionally used for lifting and passing the dish at the tea table.

Marked “DÉPOSÉ / T&V / LIMOGES / FRANCE” on the underside and also hand-initialed “HM.J.”, believed to be the decorator's initials. Floral and gold decoration appears hand-painted/hand-applied; artist remains unidentified.

Good antique condition with age-related wear to the gilding, particularly along the rim and handle, and minor surface wear consistent with age. Please see photos for details.
