Beautiful vintage hand-blown art glass basket featuring a striking blue and ochre/yellow spatter design with a clear applied thorn-style handle.

The basket has a deeply ribbed, rounded body with a hand-tooled ruffled rim and textured clear glass handle. The underside shows a ground/polished pontil area consistent with hand-blown construction.

Measures approximately 6.5” tall including the handle.

Maker and exact age are unknown. The design is reminiscent of antique English/Bohemian and later European art glass, so it is being sold as unidentified hand-blown art glass rather than attributed to a specific maker.
