Our new range of super high-quality studio grade 'non-B&O amplifier to BeoLab Speaker Cable' products allows you to connect a piece of auxiliary equipment, with volume controlled RCA/phono audio output sockets, directly to your BeoLab loudspeakers that have the option of using RJ45 type LINE input connections. The new RJ45 PowerLink standard is the most recent type of connection and can be found on BeoLab 18 etc.. These cables allow you to connect your BeoLab speakers even if you do not have a Bang & Olufsen Audio and/or Video system.
If you have any of the older B&O BeoLab speakers, with RCA/phono or 8-Pin DIN PowerLink 'LINE' input sockets, we have special cables available for these loudspeakers as a different product.
These cables are of an extremely high-quality and use some of the very best components found in the audio industry. To include pure oxygen free copper (OFC) conductors, gold plated RCA plugs, multi-stranded conductor wiring for superior performance, audio signal transfer and interference free and screened for background noise cancellation. Data grounding and speaker switch on signals are also present.
Simply connect your auxiliary equipment using the stereo pair RCA phono plug connectors at one end and your BeoLab loudspeakers at the other. In order to establish a connection to your equipment, the little switch on each BeoLab loudspeaker should be set to the 'line' position. Only one pair of cables are required to connect two BeoLab speakers (i.e. a left and right speaker.)
Some of the various sources that this cable can be used with include: pre-amplifiers, power amplifiers, AV amplifiers and PC sound cards with stereo RCA audio output sockets.
We recommend that you turn the volume level down on your audio equipment on initial setup.
Note: Please ensure that the equipment that you would like to connect has stereo 'volume controlled' RCA/phono audio output sockets, that your B&O BeoLab speakers are set to the 'line' position (rather than L or R) and connected to the RJ45 LINE input sockets.
