This is a Japanese domestic model. Its tuner covers the Japanese FM band of 76.0-90.0 MHz and AM with 9 kHz tuning steps. Outside Japan the FM broadcast band is normally 87.5-108 MHz, so almost no local FM stations can be received, and AM stations on the 10 kHz North American grid may not tune correctly.
The unit runs from a 12V DC vehicle supply, so no mains voltage converter is involved.
