Offered for your consideration is a Topgard hard hat with ComEd logo, USA-manufactured. This TYPE I CLASS E single-rib protective hat made for Commonwealth Edison bears its U.S. safety certifications on the inner decal.

This Topgard hat is in clean, excellent condition. It’s made from a very sturdy polymer and measures 11⅝” long (incl. the bill) by 811/16” at widest by roughly 6” tall (not incl. the inner cradle). There are no cracks, chips, or scratches, and the white plastic is bright and shiny.  This leads me to believe it was seldom, if ever, worn at a jobsite.

Plus, the forehead-padded adjustable “Fas-Trac II” support cage is in perfect shape with all straps intact and, again, no signs of wear. Also, the red ComEd logo has pristine color while the corporate jazz below it has an excess enamel blemish directly under the last “n”, all as pictured. This hard hat presents exceptionally well overall.

Lastly, all of the decals appear to be present, but there’s nothing I see that specifically shows the size. There’s a prominent “5” on the inner bill, but I’m not sure what it signifies as that’s not a recognized U.S. adult hat size.
