This is a Japanese domestic model. Its tuner covers the Japanese FM band of 76.0-90.0 MHz and AM with 9 kHz tuning steps. Outside Japan the FM broadcast band is normally 87.5-108 MHz, so almost no local FM stations can be received, and AM stations on the 10 kHz North American grid may not tune correctly. Please buy this unit for its CD, MD and line-in functions rather than for radio use.
The unit runs from a 12V DC vehicle supply, so no mains voltage converter is involved.
