This is a lovely group of South Africa Railway Postmarks.  These range in time from 1883-1991.

There are 428 pieces in all, with marks on cards, covers, waybills, railway letters, and stamps on pieces!  These included incribed "S.A.R.," "C.S.A.R.," "R.O.," "STATION," "RAIL," "JUNCTION," "SIDING," or "HALT."  There are many rare cancels, including "INYONI RAIL" in 1933 with  a double ring datestamp inscribed, "S.A.R." from "Winterton" dated 1917, "GROOT SPELONKEN" dated 1913, and "ALBERT FALLS 953" dated 1914.  These are VERY RARE!
