Offered for your consideration is one (1) vintage CTS Alnico magnet 3 inch cone tweeter removed from my early-production Ohm Model D speakers, USA-manufactured c.1972. The EIA-format source/date code on the magnet cover is too faint to fully decipher, but CTS was the only domestic driver manufacturer to stamp their numbers in green.
So, please see the large photos I’ve taken and read the remaining description to decide if this capable CTS tweeter is correct for your needs.

This CTS tweeter is in relatively clean, very good condition. It has a perfect paper cone and voice coil dustcap. However, since Ohm Acoustics Corp. mounted tweeters to the Model D cabinets—at least the Model D's that came into my possession—with a lot of aggressive rubber cement instead of the wood screws typically used, the mount flange doesn’t look so good. And, that’s even after I peeled away most of the adhesive!
Otherwise, the steel basket doesn’t have any dings or oxidation. Plus, the +/- terminals measure the industry standard .205”, are marked for polarity (red dot side = positive), and I’ve left a good length of input wiring soldered to the terminals for the new owner’s convenience in splicing-in to their speaker.

Most importantly, it’s been fully tested and sounds very nice—clear and detailed with crisp highs approaching the beyond audibility "sparkle" zone. Plus, it has the Alnico magnet warmth of tone that older drivers are sought for. And, I tested the DC resistance at 7.2-7.3Ω, consistent with a nominal 8 ohm driver rating. Lastly, the flange measures 3” across, the cone proper is 2⅝”, it stands 19/16” tall, and the mount holes are spaced 27/16” adjacent / 3⅜” diagonal apart, c-t-c.
This is a nice find for someone that needs a replacement tweeter for their Ohm Model D or other domestic brand that used this pattern of CTS high frequency driver in the late 1960’s and early 70’s.
As pictured and described, this CTS Alnico magnet 3” tweeter made for Ohm is offered at a competitive price.
