Brand new, never been on a horse brand new Confederate copy of the McClellan girth and a Confederate surcingle. (Color of leather may vary by hide.) Both are regulation size of both the leather and the webbing used. All leather is American made as is the cotton webbing. (The south had much more cotton than wool historically.)  Many troopers used one surcingle on the saddle and another for a breast strap. Great set at a great price.  Do not be confused with tack shop knock-offs, this item is a copy of the issued, regulation  item, hand cut, hand dyed, and hand sewn as were the originals. Don't let other horses talk bad about your horse's equipment, get it right so he won't feel depressed on the picket line! If you are looking for cheap machine sewn imported stuff, search elsewhere. American made in a one-man veteran owned and operated shop.
