Vintage Shure Brothers Model 535 “Slendyne” omnidirectional dynamic microphone.

Classic mid-century Shure satin chrome microphone featuring the selectable dual-impedance design. The side selector provides High impedance, Off and Low impedance positions. Model 535 and serial number 6020 are shown on the original identification plate.

This was one of Shure’s early slender handheld dynamic microphone designs and was intended for voice, music, broadcast, interview and recording applications.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTE:

The original microphone cable has been cut/broken at the lower connector, with remnants of the wiring still present as shown in the photos. Because I do not have the proper cable/adapter to connect it, the microphone has NOT been tested and functionality is unknown.

Cosmetically there are scratches, scuffs, tarnish and oxidation consistent with age and use, including some oxidation around the microphone grille. H/O/L selector moves.
