Antique Brass Spirit Alcohol Burner Chafing Dish Heater Snuffer c1900

Antique brass spirit / alcohol burner, dating from around the late Victorian to Edwardian period, circa 1890–1915.

A good traditional example with a broad circular pressed-brass fuel reservoir, raised central burner and flat wick, together with its long-handled swing-over snuffer/extinguisher.

Burners of this type were commonly used as a compact heat source beneath chafing dishes, food warmers, kettles and other table or serving equipment.
