Vintage Montgomery Ward Joe Gordon No. 357 leather baseball glove, dating to approximately the late 1940s to early 1950s.

Classic early baseball glove design with solid leather web, split fingers, leather lacing and button-back wrist strap. Faded original markings remain visible, including the Joe Gordon endorsement and No. 357 model designation.

This glove has seen substantial use and shows the character expected from an original period baseball glove. There is considerable wear to the leather, interior lining and wrist area, including fraying and tearing around the opening and strap. Old ink/writing is also present.

A nice original display piece for a vintage baseball glove, Joe Gordon, New York Yankees or Hall of Fame collection.
