Great reference on Northern California history thru old newspaper articles. Shasta County East of Hatchet Mountain-An 1853-1900 Newspaper History.  Author is Thelma Shiplet. Soft cover with plastic comb binding, 1988 first (and probably only) edition by the Association for Northern California Records and Research. Has about 465 pages and measures approx. 9" x 11".  Book in excellent used condition. Contents are nice also-no markings or loose pages. Please ask questions before bidding.
